The stations in the Fugløya-Bear Island (FB) transect are taken at fixed positions located at the western entrance to the Barents Sea. The numbers of sampled stations are normally 5 to 8 depending on the weather conditions. In this study, four stations, representing different water masses (coastal; Atlantic; and mixed Atlantic/Arctic water) in 1996 and 2007, were analyzed for species composition of the two abundant species C. finmarchicus, and C. glacialis, and the occurrence of C. helgolandicus in the March and August.
